What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

CLF provides a forum for collaboration among nonprofit organizations in the Portland metro region via member meetings and working groups. We provide expert policy recommendations to inform the regional planning process and educate elected leaders. We educate the public through forums and publications on issues of concern, and we mobilize citizens to participate in local and regional decision-making. We commission research projects on concerns such as housing displacement, gentrification, and the relationship between urban decay and sprawl, and share the findings broadly to assure better public policy. And, we provide consultations to groups throughout the nation on coalition building, smart growth, and Portland?s unique regional planning model.
