Life Affirming Pregnancy Resources

StandUpGirl.com scope is focused on the middle of the social spectrum, primarily working with those young women, 12 to 24 years old, with ideas that are vaguely formed about abortion through lack of interest or conflict avoidance. Our outreach is world-wide. We have “StandUpGirls” – volunteers who moderate the site’s chat rooms and forums and respond to emails from across the United States as well as in Canada and across the globe. Visitors find educational materials, real answers to their questions, and a community of women they can talk to about their unplanned pregnancy. We have not yet found the limit of our outreach, as each year we discover new levels of traffic volume limited only by the funds available. Since our inception in 2001 we have had over 52 million visitors to our website, over 4 million in 2019 alone. We are currently seeing over 350,000 per month along with another 1.5M visits per month to our Facebook page.

The StandUpGirl.com Foundation provides hope and courage to young women in an unexpected pregnancy, helping them to stand up and choose life for their unborn child. The scope is focused on the middle of the social spectrum, primarily working with women, 12 to 24 years old, with vaguely formed ideas about abortion. While the mission of changing hearts and saving lives is not unique to StandUpGirl.com, our approach differs from other pro-life sites. We are one of the few Life-Affirming, Pro-Love websites that “reach across the aisle” to young people who are not pro-life and would never think about using a pro-life website.

Since our inception in 2001, we have had over 56M visitors to our website. We are currently seeing over 400,000 visits per month along with another 1.5M reaches via social media and since 2015, we’ve interacted on 28,000 chat sessions with clients who are provided with the knowledge, empowerment, and self-confidence needed to make decisions for life in real-time.

While the mission of changing hearts and saving lives is not unique to StandUpGirl.com, our approach differs from other pro-life sites. We are one of the few Life-Affirming, Pro-Love websites that “reach across the aisle” to young people who are not pro-life and would never think about using a pro-life website.

Visitors have the option to further their contact through email, chat, or text 24x7. Daily we receive emails from women around the world and in the last 7 years we have had over 4900 contacts through texting and 2559 of those girls made an appointment with a life-affirming pregnancy center in their neighborhood!

With such a large amount of interactions happening each day, our goal is to get the users in touch with a local Pregnancy Help Organization that can provide them with a personal circle of support. We also provide free virtual training courses to these young women in crisis that range from pre-birth courses through child-rearing. All of these forms of communication are helping us to fulfill our mission, which is to save the lives of future generations and change hearts toward abortion as a viable option.

With an outreach that is worldwide, our “StandUpGirls” – volunteers, moderate the web and social media sites and respond to messages from across the globe. Visitors find educational materials, real answers to their questions, and a community of women they can talk to about their unplanned pregnancies.

With such a large reach via the internet, we use search engine advertising, social media, and streaming advertising to get our message of hope in front of as many viewers as possible each day. Our Executive Director is our chief marketing strategist and is Google Adwords Certified along with having a long history of using technology to reach the hearts of young people.

With such a large amount of interactions happening each day, our goal is to get the users in touch with a local Pregnancy Help Organization that can provide them with a personal circle of support. We also provide free virtual training courses to these young women in crisis that range from pre-birth courses through child-rearing. All of these forms of communication are helping us to fulfill our mission, which is to save the lives of future generations and change hearts toward abortion as a viable option.

Since our inception in 2001, we have had over 58M visitors to our website. We are currently seeing over 400,000 visits per month along with another 1.5M reaches via social media and since 2015, we’ve interacted on 28,000 chat sessions with clients who are provided with the knowledge, empowerment, and self-confidence needed to make decisions for life in real-time.

On a monthly basis, we have over 8900 digital clients completing our "Pregnancy Symptoms" checklist form from 97 different countries, we see over 2000 chatroom conversations and over 100 text counseling sessions.

Our future goals are to double these interactions and to provide our course materials in English and Spanish. We have hired a Social Media Specialist to increase our presence on the social media platforms our digital clients are interacting with. This is a college-aged student who can speak to digital clients with a clear understanding of market trends.

We know that with more funding we can reach more women and our desire is to secure some long-term grants and supporters that will help us reach the next level of client interactions.
