Axis Learning Center

Axis Learning Center is a study and computer lab with state of the art technology where students with adult mentors & tutors accomplish educational and vocational goals

Population(s) Served

AntFarm Café and Bakery supports youth development, healthy eating, and sustainability. We have a strong youth internship training program and provide meals from our organic garden, farm to table style!

Population(s) Served

The Cultural Arts Center offers the community a space to have meetings and to participate in school and community art, poetry, music, and photography projects. Since the opening of the Café and Bakery, this space has become popular for community meetings and a wonderful venue for community functions.

Population(s) Served

Mount Hood Farmers Market connects local farmers to our community. Young people assist with the design, set up, and management of the market. Programs for children on healthy eating and foods and the SNAP program for adults and families in need are strong components of the market.

Population(s) Served

The AntFarm Learning Garden is where youth participate in planting, maintaining and harvesting food. The students participate in all aspects of the gardening process. We supply fresh vegetables to the café and bakery, the farmers market, and the local food bank. In 2015 the AntFarm Learning Garden grew 14,000 pounds of food.

Population(s) Served

CommunityConnect helps local elders do home management tasks which have become barriers to independent living. Pairing youth and elders has been invaluable as the experiences have offered amazing learning for youth about service and support of others.

Outdoor Adventures provides an opportunity for youth to make contact and connection to the wilderness through hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and other outdoor experiences.
