Helping Victims of Domestic Violence
THE YWCA OPERATES A 24 HR CRISIS LINE AND A SHELTER FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WITH A FURTHER HOUSING OPTION FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHO HAVE UNDERGONE CRISIS INTERVENTION AND SEEKING TO REBUILD THEIR LIVES. WE CAN PROVIDE TEMPORARY SHELTER, FOOD, CLOTHING, COUNSELING, LEGAL AND OTHER ASSISTANCE. THE YWCA ALSO PROVIDES THERAPY SUPPORT GROUPS, TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDERS, COMMUNITY AND EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH, AND OTHER TRAINING AND SOCIAL AND RACIAL JUSTICE PROGRAMS.

THE YWCA OPERATES A 24 HR CRISIS LINE AND ACCESS TO EMERGENCY HOUSING FOR VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING. WE CAN PROVIDE TEMPORARY SHELTER, FOOD, CLOTHING, COUNSELING, LEGAL AND OTHER ASSISTANCE. THE YWCA ALSO PROVIDES THERAPY SUPPORT GROUPS, TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDERS, COMMUNITY AND EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH, AND OTHER TRAINING AND SOCIAL AND RACILA JSUTICE PROGRAMS.
IMMIGRATION SERVICES
The goal of the Immigration Services Program is to empower YWCA Monterey County clients and external referrals seeking support by providing legal assistance with preparation, and submission of U/T/VAWA petitions.
