What we aim to solve
The Challenge that Hands of Hope sees in our community is: There are approximately 2000 abortions in Pima County every year. 1 in 4 women will have an abortion in their lifetime and 75% of these women say they chose abortion because they lacked practical and financial support. Nearly 1/2 of U.S. women who have abortions do so because they don't have the support of their partners.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Hands of Hope Tucson is a Christ-centered organization promoting
a culture of life, hope, and healing. Hands of Hope Tucson envisions
a culture where all human life is considered valuable, precious and
worthy of protection from conception to natural death. We
understand the support that is needed for men, women, and families
during an unplanned pregancy and through our holisitc approach we
desire to bring life, hope, and healing to each client we serve.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
This is accomplished by caring for those facing unplanned
pregnancy, revealing the truth about the unborn person, teaching
sexual integrity, and offering a path to healing from an abortion
experience. We offer programs in our three pillars, Prevention,
Intervention, and Restoration that are dedicated to working with our
community in these three areas of focus. We
believe it’s important to provide women and couples with the
emotional support they need in addition to medical support. I
ndividuals are welcome to visit with our wonderful staff, who will
provide a listening ear and helpful educational tools.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have a dedicated staff of 16 that work to engage the community
in the areas of most need. Our intervention Pillar has a fully
functioning medical facility that provides medical services,
practical support, relational support, and spiritual support:

parents through the use of classroom education, assembly
