Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

America's Best Local Charities is a federation of more than 700 local nonprofit charitable organizations that are helping children, the poor, the ill and disabled, the elderly and many others in need in local communities.
ABLC's mission is to organize and prepare our member charities for effective participation in at-work employee charitable fund drives, to screen and certify these charities to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria to participate in these fund drives, and to provide for the secure, accurate, and timely transmission of contributions from the fund drives to the recipient charities. And to do all the above as cost-effectively as possible consistent with delivering quality service.

America's Best Local Charities is proud to partner with a wide range of nonprofits that reflect the values of donors to fulfill our mission making our communities better places to live by protecting and educating children, feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, strengthening families, rescuing unwanted animals and more.

There are many fundraising venues available to donors as they seek established and responsible nonprofit organizations to support. America's Best Local Charities educates contributors about the work we and our partners do to help children, families, the poor, the ill and disabled and the elderly.

Beyond traditional workplace giving, America's Best Local Charities assists generous donors in giving to the causes that mean the most to them by offering more effective ways to give online, provide recurring sustaining support, employer matching and legacy giving opportunities, and mobile device giving capabilities, through corporate, government and municipal fund drives.

America's Best Local Charities is supported by the most experienced and respected professionals in the nonprofit world. As a national organization, we offer integrated support to partners throughout the United States as well as to those organizations that are community based.

Partner charities are thoroughly screened to guarantee that they provide exceptional Program Service and fiscal responsibility. Donors can be confident that their generosity is funding the most trusted animal charities assuring the greatest impact. These standards of review meet and exceed the guidelines of Charity Navigator, Guidestar and the Combined Federal Campaign.

America's Best Local Charities continues to connect generous donors with exceptional nonprofits through direct donations as well as corporate and workplace fundraising opportunities.

Since 1997, America's Best Local Charities has raised over $185 million dollars. We are a critical source of revenue for over 150 national and local partners. Through workplace giving, every year our organization connects millions of employees with local charities. As the working environment continues to change, so have we continued to identify and develop giving strategies responsive to the remote workplaces, shared jobs and distributed locations of our generous donors.
