What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our vision is a world where all are cared for and valued. Since 1997, the partners of America's Best Charities have been working tirelessly to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, protect the children, heal the sick and help to inform, educate and empower people across the nation and around the world.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
America's Best Charities is proud to partner with a wide range of nonprofits that cover a broad array of services, including feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, protecting children, healing the sick, and helping to inform, educate and empower people across the nation and around the world.
There are many fundraising venues available to donors as they seek established and responsible nonprofit organizations to support. America's Best Charities educates contributors about the work we and our partners do to improve our world. Workplace giving is a valuable employee benefit, fostering social responsibility, enabling connection with worthy organizations and engagement with one another.
Beyond traditional workplace giving, America's Best Charities assists generous donors in giving to the causes that mean the most to them by offering more effective ways to give online, provide recurring sustaining support, employer matching and legacy giving opportunities, and mobile device giving capabilities, through corporate, government and municipal fund drives.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
America's Best Charities is supported by the most experienced and respected professionals in the nonprofit world. As a national organization, we offer integrated support to partners worldwide, and throughout the United States as well as to those organizations that are community based.
Partner charities are thoroughly screened to guarantee that they provide exceptional Program Service and fiscal responsibility. Donors can be confident that their generosity is funding the most trusted charities assuring the greatest impact. These standards of review meet and exceed the guidelines of Charity Navigator, Candid/GuideStar and the Combined Federal Campaign.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
America's Best Charities continues to connect generous donors with exceptional nonprofits through direct donations as well as corporate and workplace fundraising opportunities.
Since 1997, America's Best Charities has raised over $428 million dollars. We are a critical source of revenue for over 150 national and local partners. Through workplace giving, every year our organization connects millions of employees with charities doing the work that inspires them. As the working environment continues to change, so have we continued to identify and develop giving strategies responsive to the remote workplaces, shared jobs and distributed locations of our generous donors.
