What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Conducts wetland education program serving hundreds of children each year; conducts extensive riparian, wetland and upland wildlife habitat restoration projects; helps to create opportunities for outdoor recreation in the Laguna; conducts and coordinates original scientific research to inform design of restoration projects and create educational opportunities; developing a Laguna Learning Center as an interpretive and educational facility. The Foundation has approximately 3,000 active donor families; our programs benefit all who live in our region and depend on the Laguna for flood control, as an aesthetic green separator between cities and a base of habitat to ensure that Sonoma County's wildlife remain abundant, and particularly children and adults who are served by our education program and docent-led community walks.
