Weekly Food Distribution
We are open for weekly distribution on Wednesdays from 11am to 1pm and 5pm to 7pm, with an additional option of 4:30 to 5pm for seniors and disabled.
We provide a wide assortment of groceries often including pet food, diapers and toilet paper and other necessities. We also have worked to increase our fresh produce offerings through growing our own in our Food Bank Farm and Garden plots.
Home Delivery Program
We offer home delivery service to those that cannot make it up to shop the food bank themselves. We put bags together individually based on personal dietary needs, restrictions and preferences.
Food Bank Farm and Garden
We are growing our own produce in an effort to increase the amount of fresh nutritious food we are able to offer. We have an on-site garden as well as a half acre of farmland that we are actively growing on. We encourage the entire community as well as food bank customers to participate and learn more about growing their own fresh produce. We try to grow produce as far through the winter months as possible, and last year were able to continue harvesting through December. We are also trying to grow enough produce to be able to share our abundance with other food banks. Last year (2010) we grew 6000 pounds of fresh produce and were able to share about 1000 pounds of that with other food banks in South King County
