Mental Insight Foundation

Mission

The Mental Insight Foundation was founded by Bill Kimpton as a way of giving back to a world that had been very generous to him. Its mission is to assist people in developing healthier mental attitudes and to promote meaningful insights into the human mind. The Foundation's primary goal is to enhance people's mental health and well-being; help make it possible for all people to lead full lives; and assist in reintegrating isolated people back into society. The Foundation will pursue other funding areas as well. The Foundation can be characterized as being focused on innovation and support for projects with potential for impact; having a high tolerance for risk; making selective first-time grants that intelligently seed the fields in which they serve; and supporting programs that increase mental insight into life and human nature. The Foundation operates with a sense of compassion and respect for all living things.
