Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Teen Challenge of Southern California, Inc.
OUTREACH PROGRAMS OFFERED ARE:
• Drug education/prevention programs in public and private schools and in needy communities with children and teens.
• Support groups for young people struggling with life controlling problems and their family members with the goal of establishing healthy family relationships.
• Inmates in area prisons, jails and juvenile facilities are visited to challenge and assist them in living productive lives free from destructiveness of criminal activities.
• Children’s clubs/outreaches to provide positive alternatives to drug and gang involvement. Loving staff and volunteers assist the children in developing socially and academically.
RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS OFFERED ARE:
A one-year, two-phase residential Christian training program is provided to drug addicts and alcoholics who need a structured environment to achieve freedom from their habits and become productive, contributing members of society.
NEED FOR RESIDENTIAL STAFF
Staff is on call 24 hours each day to counsel and pray with those who are in the residential program and with those being helped throughout the outreaches.
HEADQUARTERS
Teen Challenge Southern California Headquarters is based in Riverside, CA at 5445 Chicago Avenue. Headquarters oversees all residential centers for personnel, accounting, donor services, annual and semi-annual reports, all Information Technology, and mail distribution.
