Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We offer programs for recovery and life change for men and women. We operate a crisis shelter and meals program along with extended day services. We offer Bridge Housing to help those between homelessness, employment and permanent housing.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Case management at the individual level based on empowerment agreements and connective services. We partner with other agencies when we are unable to serve a particular need. We focus on recovery and independence over welfare and permanent government dependence whenever possible.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
80 Years of experience with the ever changing faces of homelessness and community awareness.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have graduated nearly 2000 persons from our programs. We shelter 185 crisis beds per night and have added Bridge Housing as a best practice use of beds. We will continue linking our services to LA HMIS and focusing on the mapping of housing and program services with the LA CES system as it matures.
