Mission

Established in 1975, our mission is to provide direct services and educational programs to the underserved Latino community. El Concilio accomplishes its mission by providing programs and services, and by collaborating with other community organizations and agencies.A major strength of the organization is its longevity and strong connection to theLatino community in Ventura County. El Concilio is the longest standing Latino serving non-profit organization in Ventura County.  In its 43 year of service to the community, the agency assists over 22,000  client contacts per year in its various programs and services. El Concilio is a trusted agency for the Latino community, families, and partners in Ventura County, as documented by the number of clients it touches each year.
