Community Outreach
CFCN maintains a referral service for low cost mental health services. CFCN participates in community health fairs, promoting and distributing literature on mental health care. CFCN sponsors special radio shows which demonstrate mental health issues and which model resources and means for healthy outcomes. The Volunteer Exchange Program allows individuals of low income to volunteer their time to any nonprofit, in exchange for very low cost mental health services.

Create, establish, and secure our niche in the mental health community both locally and county-wide.
Explain core beliefs, and help guide volunteers in decision-making and planning relating to marketing and development of relevant programs.
Develop business model for Stability and Sustainability.
Define process for income development as well as endowment development.
Clarify roles of volunteers and Board.
Provide education about volunteer duties via workshops for developing skills and teamwork.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
On May 6, 2020, California Family Counseling Network, Inc., became the licensee of the FCC radio station KCPK-LP, which broadcasts at FM 106.9 in Pine Mountain Club, California. KCPK-LP is an affiliate of Pacifica Radio Network, which gives it an internet radio stream, which is national and international in reach. This radio station will be used to promote radio shows which focus on the mission goals of CFCN.
