What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Since its founding in 1998, W.O.R.K.S. has provided families with the tools and support they need to overcome challenging circumstances and build productive lives and futures. Its comprehensive and integrated array of culturally relevant programs and services assists hundreds of area residents of all ages---from school-age youth, adults to senior citizens. W.O.R.K.S. supportive services are offered to families and individuals seeking assistance in maintaining or achieving their full potential for self-direction, self-reliance and independent living. We also provide a variety of children's programs designed to bolster educational achievement and encourage a love of learning.
Developing a model social services linkage program for use in affordable housing facilities to provide needed social service supports to low-and moderate-income children and adults in a cost-effective manner that works under current funding programs and leverages existing community resources effectively
