The Mead Foundation supports organizations dedicated to preserving and improving the environment, the advancement of medical science, and other important social needs. Funding in other program areas such as science, education and the arts is limited to grant proposals initiated by individual Board members. We do not make grants to individuals, nor do we make grants for general operating expenses.
