Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking Treatment, Prevention and Education
CCS offers survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault and stalking full wrap-around recovery services as well as providing prevention education to the community at large. Services include:
1) Residential Services: emergency shelters; long-term shelter; housing advocacy/case management; food; clothing; and transportation.
2) Counseling Services: trauma-informed individual, family, child and group counseling.
3) 24-hour Hotline: immediate safety planning; crisis counseling; education; resource information; and referrals.
4) Advocacy Services: in-person victim advocacy; case management; court accompaniment; language interpretation; transportation; referrals; and hospital accompaniment for rape victims during the forensic exam.
5) Legal Services: temporary restraining order application; court preparation and accompaniment;assistance with family law matters;application assistance for the Calif. Safe at Home confidential address program & Victim of Crime Fund; safety planning; housing and privacy rights; and immigration law screenings & referrals.
6) Prevention and Education Services: outreach presentations to youth of all ages on violence prevention through education on rights and responsibilities of healthy relationships, communicating affirmative consent, respectful behaviors, healthy bystander intervention strategies, self defense, and other topics.
