What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Pre-Licensure Externships for Medical Students and International Healthcare Professionals

With the looming crisis of not enough healthcare professionals to meet the needs of patients, US healthcare providers are looking for ways to increase the number of patient care providers without compromising the level of quality care which is ubiquitous in the United States.

Education is an important first step in the training process, but practical training under the guidance and mentorship of experienced healthcare professionals is necessary.

AAIHCP supports these individuals through a network of dedicated, experienced, and proven healthcare professionals who provide opportunities for practical clinical experience in the US healthcare system both for US healthcare (medical, nursing, and allied healthcare) students and for international healthcare students and graduates seeking to practice in the United States.
