What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

In June 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Abortion is now illegal in 14 states and severely restricted in many others. Access to reproductive health services is restricted for millions of people across the United States.

Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Abortion Delivered

Just The Pill began providing telehealth consultations and medication abortion by mail in 2020 and is currently seeing patients in Colorado, Minnesota, Montana and Wyoming.

Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of people who must travel long distances, often across state lines, to access abortion care.

In June 2022, we launched two mobile clinics to provide medication and procedural abortion. By operating on state borders, our mobile clinics reduce travel burdens for patients in states with bans or severe limits.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Just The Pill is committed to expanding access to sexual and reproductive health services, especially in underserved communities. We recognize each pregnant person's fundamental right to make decisions about when and if they will have children. We respect the diversity of the pregnant person's experience, knowing that at different moments in our lives our decisions about pregnancy might have different outcomes.

At a time of heightened abortion restrictions, our goal is to make abortion more affordable, reduce travel and other barriers, improve language access, and make services more patient centered.

Just The Pill provides efficient and equitable access to reproductive health care by combining telemedicine and mobile clinics. Just The Pill is currently seeing patients in Minnesota, Colorado, Montana and Wyoming (including many patients who cross state lines to receive care). Our telehealth/mobile clinic service model helps to reduce travel burdens and make abortion more accessible.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Aug 01 - Jul 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
