Mission

We meet material, spiritual and health needs of women facing an unintended pregnancy. We do not impose a spiritual demand on them, however, we are a faith-based organization. Our education and support for the mother & her partner encourages them as they learn to parent their child or make an adoption plan to allow another family to raise the child as they wished they could have done. Lay, peer-to-peer counseling for SRTs (sexual-related traumas) assists those who have suffered a miscarriage, stillbirth, sexual assault or abuse, post-abortion trauma or crisis pregnancy, provided by trained facilitators who have also survived such a trauma. We promote sexual integrity to foster healthy living, avoid STIs & STDs, and encourage teens' positive visions of themselves & their futures.

These Bright Bucks can be used to "purchase" cribs, car seats, diapers, wipes, maternity & baby clothes, strollers, play pens, jumpers, blankets, crib sheets, formula, baby food and more in our baby boutique. Clients not expecting a baby can earn gift cards for groceries, gas, and material goods at local merchants.
We subscribe to the BrightCourse video subscription service, through which over 300 videos are available to our clients featuring healthy pregnancy, labor & delivery, postpartum depression, infant expectations, toddlerhood, potty training, anger management, debt and credit education, healthy boundaries / relationships, healing from SRTs (sexually-related traumas) such as miscarriage, stillbirth, assault/abuse, past-abortion, or unintended pregnancy.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
