What we aim to solve
An autism diagnosis can be extremely overwhelming and expensive. Some of the things that help many autistics are sensory tools that help to manage/prevent overstimulation which can lead to meltdowns and shutdowns. Many autistics who need these tools don’t have the financial resources needed to get these tools on their own. The S.T.I.M. Project aims to provide tangible and individual assistance to autistic individuals by providing sensory tools and informational materials directly to autistic individuals who need them.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our priority will always be to distribute as many S.T.I.M. packs as possible directly to autistic individuals who need them. The benefits of having these sensory tools and informational materials permanently available to autistic individuals for their own use are significant. Many autistics thrive in stable environments and being able to provide the stability and security of autistic individuals owning these tools and materials is fundamental to our mission.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
In addition to working directly with members of the autistic community to develop and implement the distribution of S.T.I.M. Packs to as many autistic individuals in need as possible we are actively fundraising to financially support our work. Our current fundraising strategies are outlined below.
We are currently crowdfunding online to give people the opportunity to directly support The S.T.I.M. project. These efforts are particularly crucial during our startup stages as we work through the early stages of incorporation and fundraising.
We also give people the option to purchase merchandise. This allows them to support The S.T.I.M. project both monetarily and by spreading awareness of our program through the merchandise that features our logo. These items are available to give a perpetual option for anyone to support the project. All proceeds from merchandising will be used to provide more S.T.I.M. packs to autistic individuals in need.
We are also actively seek grants and sponsorships to further fund and improve the S.T.I.M. packs and other future efforts of The S.T.I.M. project.
