Historic Preservation and Education

The Lahaina Restoration has restored and preserved more than one dozen landmarks and historic structures in Lahaina. The Lahaina Restoration currently maintains 14 historic sites, including several collections of artifacts, photographs, manuscripts, maps, logs and other materials representative of Lahainas colorful past.
Following the August 2023 Wildfire that destroyed Lahaina, LRF is committed to rebuild and restore the historic places the make Lahaina unique.

Executive Director

Theo Morrison

Theo Morrison has been the Executive Director of the Lahaina Restoration Foundation since 2008. Previously, she worked as the Executive Director for the Lahaina Town Action Committee (LAC) and Lahaina Bypass Now. At LAC, Theo organized large events highlighting the town's heritage such as Chinese New Year, the Taste of Lahaina, the Fourth of July Fireworks and the International Festival of Canoes. At Lahaina Bypass Now, Theo brought the community and government together to come to an agreement for the bypass project. She has decades of experience in community building, nonprofit management, and fundraising.
