What we aim to solve
The Million Mile Project’s purpose is to meet those struggling with substance use disorder and mental illness, to walk the journey with each person from start to freedom, for a million miles and more. Our mission is to provide proper tools and resources around connection, mentorship, education, health, healing, and structure to empower and restore hope for a successful life in recovery.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Addiction Treatment Placement
The Million Mile Project realizes that the first step to recovery is the step of entering an appropriate treatment program. Unfortunately, entering a program is often more challenging and time sensitive than the individual and loved ones can manage. We are here to assist individuals 18 and older in obtaining the necessary support for their recovery, irrespective of their financial means.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The Million Mile Project helps individuals that struggle with substance use disorder to get the treatment they need and the mentorship, post-treatment, to get back on their feet to build a sustainable life of sobriety.
Getting help is usually the 'simple' part. It's the rebuild post-treatment that can be the most daunting and defeating. We aim to help each individual overcome those obstacles by accompanying and guiding them through the process.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
The Million Mile Project offers assistance with admission into a comprehensive treatment program for an extended duration.
Post treatment, we offer guidance during the transition to temporary housing to aid in their journey of rebuilding their life. In the face of overwhelming obstacles, we are committed to assisting individuals in navigating their challenges. Together, we will help them reconstruct their life by focusing on securing stable employment at a sustainable income level, adopting positive financial practices including budgeting, saving, and improving credit health, and providing assistance in locating suitable housing.
