Board President

Sarah Ellefson

Sarah was born and raised in St. Paul, MN and continues to reside there with her daughter. For over 17 years Sarah engaged in corporate work that ran the gamut from marketing and purchasing to administration and event planning. However, a spark occurred in 2001 that fueled Sarah’s desire to create a place to provide child-focused respite care for parents and caregivers. As Sarah’s work in the field of Children and Family Services continued, she was able to enjoy various volunteer opportunities such developing a daycare service for a local church and serving on the Funds Allocation board for the United Way. In 2015 the opportunity to move away from the corporate world and pursue her passion of working with children and their families presented itself, and Sarah leapt at the chance. In 2016, Sarah earned a degree in Child Care Administration and Advocacy while remaining engaged in the community with endeavors into childcare, coaching a Praise dance team and youth group mediation.
