Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Community Connections & Support, Event subsidies
Elbowbumpkid Inc raises critical funds that subsidize education events, local community events, a scholarship grant for high school senior with Type 1 as well as partnerships for local camps and initiatives that support the community.
Elbowbumpkid Inc is a completely volunteer board, every penny we raise goes towards programs for families in CT impacted by Type 1 Diabetes.
We created Elbowbumpkid Inc due to the gap in our community-so many disease states have nonprofits that fundraise for a cure but there is less of a focus on caring for the community and establishing relationships with families that share the same journey. That's where we come in.
Beyond Type 1 Diabetes Scholars Program
Fundraising to support a scholarship through Diabetes Scholars Program for a CT Senior impacted by Type 1 Diabetes.
Local CT events and programs for families impacted by Type 1 Diabetes
Fundraising to subsidize targeted programs and events for families impacted by Type 1 Diabetes in CT
