Mission

Team 5 is medical foundation comprised of Special Forces, Ultra-Athletes and survival experts who venture to the absolute most remote locations on earth to give medical education, patient care and donations of medications/supplies to keep the local clinics self sufficient until resupplies can be arranged.

T5 performs oral surgery, out-patient plastic surgery, medical clinics, ultra-sounds and donates medical equipment/medication as well as educating the local practitioners. T5 is a veteran 501c3 medical foundation with several awards from ESGR, Congress and the Senate. T5 works with other veteran non-profit organizations and is recognized by the Green Beret Foundation< Special Forces Association (Pentagon Chapter), Stations Foundation and the Las Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce.

Notes from the nonprofit

In 2012 - 3 medical deployments were conducted with a budget of $35,000 where each mission saw a min of 600 patients, taught indigenous healthcare workers, performed numerous ultra-sounds, donated medical supplies and pharmaceuticals in the most remote and austere locations on the globe. In 2013 we responded to the San Marcos Earthquake of 7.5M and put ourselves in harms way to help those less fortunate. In July the team headed to St. Vincents & Grenadines where locals had not had help since 2009 and conducted oral surgery, out patient surgery, clinic, classes to their relief staff and donations in the $100,000's in supplies.

In 2014 T5 deployed to Dominican Republic in association with the Jewish Renaissance Foundation and conducted clinics in 5 locations and saw:

Medical Patients: 735
Dental Patients: 266
Surgical Patients: 6
Ultrasound Patients: 91

Later in November T5 redeployed to Quebrada Seca to a remote Mayan location only accessible by boat and trekking and performed dental and medical surgeries, clinics, ultrasounds and donated more than $150,000 in supplies.

Just this past March in 2015, T5 joined forces with Expedition Overland and flew to Belize where a skeleton crew of 3, which was the max that could fit in their overland vehicles drove to Guatemala through jungles, rivers and over lakes to reach a location which has not had medical assistance in years and performed a plastic surgery on a 7 year old, changing her life. An additional 60 plus patients seen and medical supplies left behind for the villages. This was documented by professional film crews and aired on TV and now on YouTube with almost a total of 1 Million views.

In 2015 Toyota USA and Saatchi USA both joined forces with Team 5 as sponsors and donated a 2016 Toyota Tundra for US natural disaster response.

In 2016 we deployed an advance team to Peru and set up a base camp. We now have a medical license agreement with the department of health and military. First medical deployment will be 9/2016.

Utilizing Special Forces members, Ultra Athletes and Survival Experts is a unique way to make sure those who need care, receive care; one village at a time.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

To reach every indigenous region possible to give medical education, assistance, clinic and donations of supplies; One village at a time!

With assistance of welcoming countries we hope to bring their medical education to a higher level. Allowing students to shadow us in clinic and leaving them with the tools, medications and supplies needed to do their jobs.

With a bank full of volunteers who are specialists in the medical and survival world we believe there is no place on Earth we cannot reach to give assistance needed. We are not religiously or politically motivated, but just doing the right thing. We have strong sponsors who donate the medical and expedition gear needed to fulfill the missions. We also have added a Public Ambassador, Sgt. Dakota Meyer, CMH (Congressional Medal of Honor) who is bringing awareness to the missions and goals through his network.

We have accomplished what no organization has yet to be able to do... Reach the most remote and austere indigenous regions on the planet and be accepted by the tribes and willingness to advance their skill sets and supplies to a more western and sterile process.

We have not yet been able to lock down an airline to help fund the top cost of the missions which is airfare. We are still pushing forward to bring this organization to a full time foundation and run 6 missions a year with a paid basic staff.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
