Our programs

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Spiritual Development

Women’s Bible Studies - Women attend our Bible Studies weekly because they are accepted, loved, valued, wanted, and cared for by God and by our ministry staff. When our ladies come to sit with us, they are cherished as chosen daughters of the One True God. We strive not only to see our ladies grow in the Word, but also to disciple them to go out and reach others.

Children's Bible Study - Weekly children’s Bible Studies to reach out and share hope with children in our community who are not attending school. We prepare age-appropriate lessons and activities to give them the opportunity to learn how to read, write and know Jesus and the basic foundations of a Christian life.

Outreach Events - Monthly outreach events provide a comfortable, fun environment for ladies to get connected with The Bridge. We share the Gospel message, a joyful activity, and a meal. Our goal is to reach the unreached and uplift those already connected with our ministry.

Population(s) Served

School Sponsorship Program - Our Haitian leaders select girls from our weekly Bible Studies to receive scholarships to attend Haitian schools. This program provides life changing opportunities for these girls and their families, while integrating our team into Haitian schools for positive influence and impact on a local and national level.

Community Adult Literacy Classes - Adult literacy classes are hosted twice weekly for men and women in our community. Each student is provided with materials and lessons to learn how to read and write. As they acquire these life-changing skills, we watch them read the Bible and grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. We continue to see drastic increases in confidence and self-worth in individuals attending of these classes.

Community English Classes - English classes are held each week before our Saturday Bible Study. This opportunity to learn English has a lifelong impact on our women and opens many doors for those we we serve.

Population(s) Served

Counseling Center - We provide essential counseling services for the young women we serve, as most of them have experienced trauma and neglect. Our program is designed to help women heal from difficult events and hardship by meeting one-on-one for sessions with a dedicated psychologist.

Home Visits - We conduct home visits to strengthen our Haitian leaders' insights on the girls’ home environments, mental and physical wellbeing, nutritional needs and overall domestic situation. These visits also offer opportunities for one-on-one ministry and relationship building.

Population(s) Served

Crisis Care: Emergency Needs and Preparedness, Community Food Distribution - Our Crisis Care program allows our Haitian leaders to expand their efforts to meet emergency needs for the individuals and families we serve. This program offers consistently available funding to meet emergency medical, nutritional, and family needs. This also allows us to distribute food within our community when inevitable shortages arise.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Oct 01 - Sep 30

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.

Co Founder/ President

Hannah Stucker

Hannah moved to Gressier, Haiti in September of 2017 when she was 24 years old. Her original commitment was for three months, however; God connected her heart to the Antione family and the Gressier community. Although she is currently stateside, Hannah still serves Haiti today. In April of 2019, Ritha and Fedner Antione and Hannah co-founded The Bridge Ministries. Her heart is to live and operate in community with Haitians. Hannah’s passion is to deeply invest in Haitians and to support them in their God given callings. She believes this approach is what will bring lasting impact to the nation of Haiti. In her life and when leading The Bridge Hannah stands firm on the following spiritual principles: We serve a God who chases after our hearts, whose thoughts are higher than our thoughts, whose ways are higher than our ways, who doesn’t meet our expectations because He wants to exceed them, who has a purpose that is greater, and a plan that is bigger.
