What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Community Empowerment Grant Program
The RevComm Foundation supports partner organizations through its Community Empowerment Grant Program, which provides general operating grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. The # of selected agencies for each application period will depend on level of interest and funding availability. In addition to financial assistance, all grantees will have access to pro-bono consulting support.
Grants are typically awarded for a 6-month period. Agencies invited to submit a full proposal but not selected for funding are encouraged to apply during the following application period. Awarded agencies must wait one-year from their award period to re-apply for funding if they still meet the revenue and years in business requirements.
Our promise to you throughout this process is to remain simple. With a founding board experienced in grant writing and serving as nonprofit consultants on a full-time basis, we understand how stressful the grant process can be. We will keep the application process simple, to the point, and focused on your important work.
Pro Bono Consulting Network
RevComm Foundation provides organizations with the tools and resources needed to move their mission forward. Born from the hardships faced throughout the COVID-19 global health crisis, RevComm launched its Nonprofit Pro Bono Consulting Network, where skilled volunteer consultants are strategically paired to an organization in need. Through this program, nonprofit organizations can benefit from the expertise of our vetted consultant network to address specific and critical needs holding them back from expanded community impact.
A nonprofit organization in its infancy stage may not be equipped with the staffing and budget needed to thrive. It is often limited resources that hold an organization’s work from becoming revolutionary. Our Pro Bono Consultant Network aims to bridge the gaps between organizations with the passion and drive to succeed, but limited resources, and more established agencies that already have the critically needed funding and capacity to support their communities.
Nonprofit Collaborative Workspace
. A unique spin on coworking, the Nonprofit Collaborative Workspace is designed for agencies still operating out of a home, garage, backyard – where the story of many changemakers begins. This concept is more than a physical space, but a collaborative location for agencies to gain the resources needed to thrive. During an agency’s time as a member, they will receive guidance on things like program design, strategic planning, fundraising, and much more. By providing member agencies with a subsidized/no-cost office space while also filling gaps in resources, we can play a role in supporting the community on a larger scale.
The Nonprofit Collaborative Workspace will model a transitional housing concept – providing organizations with a “home” while also providing the resources and skills needed to thrive on their own. The purpose of this program is not to be a permanent location for agencies, rather a steppingstone to success.
Fiscal Sponsorship Program
Starting a nonprofit, obtaining 501(c)(3) status and filing financial documents can be time-consuming and expensive. Partnering with a fiscal sponsor can save small organizations the time and money put forth in administrative and operational needs. Through the RevComm Foundation Fiscal Sponsorship Program an organization can take the next steps toward revolutionizing their communities with minimal upfront capacity.
At the root of RevComm Foundation's mission is to provide a more equal playing field for organizations during their infancy stage, which is why offering a fiscal sponsorship program only made sense. Through this partnership, smaller groups and organizations are afforded the opportunity to focus on their work, while RCF manages the administration and financials behind the scenes.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
RevComm Foundation revolutionizes communities through the power of philanthropy. Now more than
ever, community resources and opportunities are critical to create thriving communities. While there are many organizations providing critically-needed support to underresourced communities, these agencies struggle to find their own resources and funding to continue their efforts in providing no-to-low cost services to their clients - this is where our work comes in.
RevComm Foundation aims to change the narrative of nonprofit funding by creating a collaborative synergy for start-up organizations. The primary goal of our three core programs is to provide a more equal playing ground for all grassroot nonprofit entities by providing critical financial support to local organizations when it is needed most - the early years.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
In an effort to promote equity amongst nonprofit organizations, the RevComm Foundation has designed three core programs that directly address the greatest challenges faced by startup nonprofits:
Community Empowerment Grant Program - $1,000 to $5,000 grants to SoCal nonprofits less than 3 years old with less than a $100K revenue. Donations directly support grants to the community.
Probono Consulting Network - bridging the gaps between nonprofits with passion and drive but limited resources and large-scale agencies with full capacity. Our Probono Consulting Network connects experts with small-scale nonprofits to provide no-cost service support in a variety of areas. Donations support the logistical operations needed to maintain this platform.
Collaborative Nonprofit Workspace - a unique spin on coworking, our workspace will offer extremely low cost office/desk space for nonprofits still operating out of a home, garage, backyard (where many businesses start!) Agencies will additionally have no-cost access to probono consultants, monthly trainings, community forums and discussions, and agency partnerships to address community needs together.
These core programs will fill the greatest gaps faced by nonprofits in their infancy stage: 1) funding, 2) resources and knowledge, and 3) location.

Co-Founder & Board President
Daniel Gonzalez
Daniel is one of the 3 original founders and serves as the president of RevComm Foundation. Prior to founding the foundation Daniel was the IT and Marketing Consultant specializing in the assistance of nonprofit organizations. Through this work it was noticed that newly established nonprofit organizations do not receive the assistance they needed to financially survive. Daniel’s dedication and drive to positively impact the community goes past the foundation, he feels that through RevComm Foundation we can better the world around us.
Co-Founder & Board Treasurer
Crystal Gonzalez
Crystal Gonzalez has combined her passion for helping others with her background as an MBA to serve the community as a Social Entrepreneur – Founder of RevComm Consulting and RevComm Foundation. After climbing the ladder in the nonprofit sector and wearing multiple hats for over a decade, she felt compelled to shift her efforts to nonprofit consulting in order to better serve her community. As a grant writer for over 10 years, she recognized a need to fill the gaps where funders continued to miss the mark – with the support of her husband, the Foundation was born.
