Over the course of the 21st century, the personal computer has become an essential utility in our modern society, and especially since COVID-19. Academic achievement, seeking employment, telemedicine, and just staying connected to family and friends, all rely on using personal computers. Rising costs of repairs and computer equipment have created substantial burdens on local households, especially those with lower income or disadvantaged situations. Individuals and families without access to reliable technology resources suffer extreme disparity in terms of economic sustainability, educational equality, and social integration.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Free Computer Repairs
With the ever rising cost of services, many have chosen to forgo essential repairs and maintenance items impeding the reliability or operability of their personal computers. Christian Tech Center is able to help with a variety of repair needs for desktop and laptop computers. Our range of expertise encompasses tune ups and virus removals to advanced hardware repairs. Error messages, slowness, and crashing are some of the most common types of symptoms that we successfully resolve. These services are always 100% free for those of greatest need in our community. We also offer our services to the general public on a donation supported basis.
Tech Skills Training
Even with properly working computers, many users continue to struggle due to difficulties in understanding how to use them. This problem is often compounded by changes in the interface and functionality between different versions of Windows or macOS released over the years. In addition to being able to offer voluntary one-on-one training or guided assistance for essential skills, Christian Tech Center gives complimentary workshops throughout the community.
Community Computer Redeployment Program
One of our primary goals at Christian Tech Center is to get functional and capable personal computers into the homes of struggling individuals & families that may not otherwise be able to afford them due to a variety of situations or life circumstances.
Our community computer redeployment program takes in systems that are surplused or discarded, reconditions them to current technological standards, and give them back out freely to bless those with the greatest need.

Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31
The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
