What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Every one of us will eventually confront death: with our loved ones, in our community, and eventually, with our own passing. Think back to the deaths you have experienced. Can you say it was a positive experience? Support for those in their final season of life currently is placed in the hands of medical professionals and conversations about death and preparation for that and the aftermath of grief are often avoided. Current end-of-life care systems aren’t designed for the experience of the dying individual or their family. They are designed to avoid and delay death, at all costs. And the costs are great.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Together we are taking on one of society’s most complex problems: we are seeking to heal our relationship to death.

OVER THE NEXT THREE YEARS WE ARE ON A TRANSFORMATIVE JOURNEY TO:
➢ Provide end-of-life care to 80-100 people and their families at the CCLD Sanctuary and throughout our community through our in-home care team
➢ Offer an Annual Death & Grief Symposium, an End of Life Education Series, lectures, workshops, trainings, and presentations
➢ Launch a death doula training program and train over 360 people in providing compassionate end-of-life care

The Center for Conscious Living & Dying provides compassionate end-of-life care, nurtures a network and community that celebrates and cares for all seasons of life, and empowers others to replicate our model to improve the end-of-life experience for themselves and their loved ones.

WE OFFER 3 BRANCHES OF CARE:
1. Direct end-of-life care support
2. Conscious living exploration
3. National movement building through
end-of-life education

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
