Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Adoptions
Connecting cats in need of a home with a family or individuals who offer the best home fit for the animal.
Mew Cares
Mew Cares is a program designed to help local residents (Northwest Arkansas Metro) with non-routine, one time veterinarian services when the caregiver cannot afford it. The purpose of this program is to promote cat ownership when someone may want to surrender a cat due not being able to afford basic needs for the cat or veterinary care. They may own the cat, or they may have found a stray or abandoned cat that needs care. This program may also be used for rental pet deposits (cats only), however qualifications differ from vet care requests. Both services pay directly to the vet of our choice or the rental company involved.

Financial data
MEW CAT RESCUE
Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31
The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.

Mew is a 501c3 charity organization founded in 2019. Our goal is rescue cats in Northwest Arkansas who are abandoned, stray, injured or lost, get them healthy and then find wonderful adoptive homes. We are not funded by the city, county or state and exist only from adoption fees (that are less than cost) and donations.
