Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.

Jennifer Goodwin

I am Catherine Malatesta's Mother and very passionate about ensuring no child, teen or family has to endure what Catherine and our family did during Catherine's diagnosis, treatment and subsequent death. We created this Foundation so that we can raise funds to fight against the deadly and rare sarcoma cancer. We fundraise and distribute the funds to cancer research organizations like Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Mass General Hospital Cancer Center and the Sarcoma Foundation of America. We raise funds for organizations that supported Catherine and our family during her cancer journey such as Team Impact and The Children's Room. We are committed to help find a cure. We are committed to making the lives of cancer patients and their families easier. We are committed to giving hope to the youngest of cancer patients and their families! I have served on many non-profit boards including Rural Water Ventures, Shoot for the Cure Fund and, most recently, the Sarcoma Foundation of America
