Mission

Animal Angel Aid assists smaller animal rescues by providing fundraising tools & support to help them successfully rescue, rehab, and re-home their very deserving animals. We help local community cat colony caretakers by providing shelters & TNR funds. Pawtectors is our national youth humane education program. It is our vision to see a time when all animals are treated & viewed equal. We will endeavor to continue educating people that ALL animals can add joy, happiness and life-long companionship no matter their physical abilities. We Cannot Do It Alone! Through a multifaceted, compassionate approach of joint partnerships, community involvement, volunteer networks, education and outreach, we work daily to achieve our mission/vision as the “Voice for those who cannot speak”.

What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Shelters have so many needs, so many mouths to feed & care for, and so little money/resources to accomplish it all sometimes. ANGELS TO THE RESCUES’ vision for Shelters for Strays is two-fold: * Assisting rescues with manpower/supplies to enable rescues to provide safe, clean, quality shelter/adoption facilities for animals in shelter environments. *Providing safe, clean, quality shelter for homeless animals, the STREET ANGELS, that live among the communities. The TNR cat colonies, abandoned dogs, and any other groups of these STREET ANGELS’ animals that are being monitored, fed, and cared for by loving, dedicated community animal rescue volunteers. Problem #2 Donations to “ZIPPY’S FUND” are used to assist ANIMAL RESCUES veterinarian medical procedures outlined in our guidelines when their own personal funding falls short. We want to ensure that more homeless animals across this country get the medical care they need while waiting for their forever homes!

Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Zippy's Fund

Our signature animal emergency medical fund to assist animal rescues and colony caretakers when their medical funds fall short of their medical needs for their rescue and cat/dog colony animals. Medical funding is paid directly to the service provider ensuring that all appropriated funds go directly to the animals in need

“Habitat for Humanity” concept meets the Rescue world.
Shelters have so many needs, so many mouths to feed & care for, and so little money/resources to accomplish it all sometimes. ANIMAL ANGEL AID’s vision for Shelters for Strays is two-fold:

Assisting rescues with manpower/supplies to enable rescues to provide safe, clean, quality shelter/adoption facilities for animals in shelter environments.
Providing safe, clean, quality shelter for homeless animals, the STREET ANGELS, that live among the communities.
The TNR cat colonies, abandoned dogs, and any other groups of these STREET ANGELS’ animals that are being monitored, fed, and cared for by loving, dedicated community animal rescue volunteers.

Working hand-in-hand, literally, with dedicated volunteers, community businesses, and local county agencies we help assist with much needed renovations of shelter/rescue facilities. Our ARMY OF ANGELS volunteer teams show their compassion for animals through the generous donations and resources from local businesses in the building industry.

We are continually looking for volunteers, donors, businesses in the construction/building industry to help coordinate the Shelters for Strays’ projects from the ground up.

Zippys Funds:
Donations to “ZIPPY’S FUND” are used to assist ANIMAL RESCUES with veterinarian medical procedures outlined in our guidelines when their funding falls short. Our goal is to provide deserving animals of all ages, breeds, abilities, and medical conditions with medical care they need while waiting for their forever homes! Help shelters/rescues help save more animals! TNR is a priority as well as spay/neuter programs.

* Providing public education and awareness to the needs of the communities for animal rescue & community colony animals.
* Educating the public on TNR & working with local/regional officials & groups/businesses, as well as partnering with national organizations to create a unified voice for those who cannot speak.
* Engaging with community organizations, businesses and groups in various events and activities to acquire volunteers, fosters, potential adopters and donors.
* Using creative social media campaigns showcasing the benefits of animal adoption for various age ranges and lifestyles.
* Working with youth to educate them on responsible pet ownership - spay/neuter, pets for life, compassion & volunteerism

* Partnering with various social media experts to promote our organization & mission.
* Partnering with various members of the veterinary community for their professional expertise & guidance in the field of animal care
* Utilizing 20+ years of public relations/marketing to create unique & effective campaigns for our signature programs
* Forming a strong, personal bond between Animal Angel Aid, the rescues & homeless animals we assist and sharing those individual animal stories with the public so individuals know exactly where their appreciated donations go

* We have provided assistance (financial and trapping volunteers) to community colony cat caretakers in our local to provide 100% TNR in colonies that have not been kitten-free in years.
* We have established a membership society where 100% of the profits from donations go directly to Zippy's Fund
* We have partnered with the Bathe to Save National Tour as their Director of Fundraising for Animal Rescues to promote the benefits of animal adoption.
* We have assisted animal rescues with financial support for medical needs when euthanasia due to lack of funds would have been the rescue's only immediate alternative.

To date, in our short time as an established 501c3, we are living up to our goal of being the "voice for those who cannot speak"....and will continue to do so with the generous support and compassion from donors and concerned animal lovers like yourself.
