Education & Development

Education is one of the greatest gifts and tool you can give to a child. It is key to breaking the poverty cycle and when you invest in Education you aren’t just
changing lives, you’re changing the future. We therefore seek to increase access to education and improve child well-being through
sponsorship. When you sponsor a child, you enable them to get an education. Each child can have multiple sponsors to give them
holistic care that they need to thrive. With a gift of $114 you enable a primary school child to go to school for a full school term
(three month). We are also striving to re-instate our vocational training institute so as to enable us equip youth & women with practical skills that would enable them start up a business for self-reliance and self-sustainability.

Population(s) Served

More than 38 million people (83% of Uganda's population) lack access to clean & safe water. As a result, most families walk for over 9 miles to the nearest water source which in most cases is shared with animals.
Our obligation as Divine Hearts Foundation is to change this narrative and extend God’s love to these communities through the drilling of boreholes and water wells for the provision of clean and safe water.
