E-City's Unbroken Support Groups
The purpose of our open support groups is facilitate a safe space among survivors who can come together and discuss life before and after trauma. Our groups focus on peer support and learning how to move forward.

I am a survivor. There was a time when I believed in my brokenness. I was born into generational abuse. God knew the layout of my life before it began, but I did not. I lived in an always awake nightmare. A child trapped…turned “woman” trapped. So much was taken from me. My childhood, teen years, young adulthood…into my late thirties. The entirety of my youth…taken. Blown away, such as the seeds of a dandelion…drifting on the wind of years floating by. Today, I am a healed person, and my healing is ever evolving. The brokenness I believed myself to be for all those years was a lie. I was never broken. I now get to help other people like me through my nonprofit, E-City's Unbroken. I know what a lifetime of abuse does to a person, and I can guide others in their healing process. Coming out alive on the other side is a miracle. Having the capacity of mind to make a difference in the lives of others is a blessing.
