What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Love Chapel Food Program

The Love Chapel food pantry is available to all residents in Bartholomew County, Indiana, regardless of income. Each household (address) may receive a full pantry visit once per month. Additional Produce/Bread visits are available once per week. Proof of current Bartholomew County residency is needed to visit the pantry. This can be mail with a postmark, a utility bill, official document, lease agreement, etc. dated within 30 days of the pantry visit. No photo ID is required. Approximately 7-10 days of food is received at each full pantry visit.

Love Chapel offers four Outreach Food Pantries per month in the remote corners of Bartholomew County where there are food deserts, transportation challenges, and a high immigrant population. In addition, Love Chapel runs the school backpack program in Bartholomew County, providing weekend food for more than 750 students each week, and coordinates the local hot meal program (a free dinner is provided each night of the week).
