What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Our mission encompasses a dual-fold purpose that reflects our commitment to making a meaningful impact by: 1. Grief Support - we offer a comprehensive resource hub for individuals on the challenging journey of pregnancy loss, providing a wide array of invaluable resources through our website, including a carefully curated curriculum and a facilitated support group to ensure holistic care. 2. Normalizing Conversations - one of the most impactful ways to address the profound impact of pregnancy loss is by breaking the silence to create a space where individuals can openly discuss their experiences with pregnancy loss. By doing so, we aim to eradicate the feeling of isolation that so often accompanies this common yet seldom-discussed life event, while comforting others on a similar path. We are deeply dedicated to providing solace, information, and the courage to share one's story. We are not only helping individuals heal, but also fostering an empathetic and supportive community.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our organization has set two significant goals, each with a profound impact on our mission:
1. One of our primary objectives is to raise a minimum of $400/month. This financial milestone plays a crucial role in enabling us to extend our support to 10 women or families by providing them with our much-needed care packages. These packages are requested by those in dire need of solace and support during their challenging journeys. Meeting this fundraising goal ensures that we can continue to be a lifeline for those who reach out to us in their times of need.
2. Our second goal is to establish local chapters of our nonprofit in every major city within the state of Texas. While we are currently deeply rooted in the greater Houston community, our vision extends beyond those boundaries. By creating a network of support groups across the state, we aspire to bring our valuable services closer to those who need them. This statewide expansion reflects our commitment to ensuring that no woman or family in Texas feels isolated or unsupported when facing pregnancy loss.

We are dedicated to not only serving the community in Texas, but also to expanding our reach throughout Texas. By doing so, we aim to create a more inclusive, compassionate, and empathetic environment for those grappling with pregnancy loss, empowering them with the support they deserve.

Our commitment to achieving our fundraising objectives and expanding our reach is unwavering. To realize these goals, we have devised a comprehensive strategy that leverages both innovative approaches and tried-and-true methods:

1. Diverse Fundraising Approach: We are dedicated to consistently meeting our fundraising target through a multifaceted approach. This strategy includes proactive networking within supportive circles that can aid us in our mission. Additionally, we are excited to unveil our Ambassador Program. Our dedicated ambassadors will play a pivotal role in spreading awareness, connecting with generous donors, and establishing meaningful relationships within the pregnancy loss community. Their passion and dedication will serve as a driving force in propelling our fundraising efforts to new heights.

2. Statewide Expansion: We have set our sights on creating a presence in every major city in the vast landscape of Texas. To achieve this ambitious objective, we are instituting a standardized process for launching new chapters. This process includes identifying effective leaders in each location who share our passion and vision. These leaders will be equipped with a comprehensive manual and provided with extensive training, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to uphold our organization's high standards. This uniform approach will guarantee that each chapter operates with consistency and adheres to the values that define Missing Pieces Support Group.

In pursuit of these objectives, we remain resolute in our mission to provide unwavering support to those affected by pregnancy loss. By forging strategic partnerships, nurturing a network of ambassadors, and establishing a presence in every major Texas city, we aim to extend our reach, foster inclusivity, and create a supportive ecosystem that empowers individuals and families during their challenging journeys. Together, we are weaving the missing pieces of hope and comfort into the lives of those who need it most.
