Mission
Our vision is to provide a Christ-centered camping experience for children, teens, and families of all social, cultural, and economic groups. We hope to strengthen the faith of believers and introduce Jesus Christ to the unsaved. We want to provide a place for rest and healing, both physical and spiritual. While experiencing the beauty of God's creation It is also important to preserve the natural resources and wildlife habitat that He has given us. We welcome community involvement through the public's utilization of the campground and facilities, and through cooperation with other local organizations.

Gail and her husband, Dean (deceased), born-again Christians, worked over 20 years to make improvements to Lake Heron so that they could share this amazing property with others. "God entrusted this beautiful piece of land to us and we want to give Him a good return on His investment." They are now giving it back to God as a Christian ministry for family and children's camping.
