Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Children and teenagers deciding to leave the life of the streets.
Children and teenagers resuming their full-time education.
Children and teenagers finishing their high school education.
Children and teenagers coming to know God in their lives.
Teenagers and young people receiving higher education in preparation for the work place and independence.

The above is achieved through:
Street work, gaining the confidence of the children and teenagers on the street and encouraging them to leave the streets and come into our Reception House.
Reception House - El Toborochi - a week of orientation and preparation for our Restoration Homes.
Restoration Homes - El Camino (boys), El Alfarero (girls) - a residential home where they receive all the attention of a family, return to full-time education and are provided for physically, psychologically and spiritually until they finish high school.
Reintegration Houses - Torre Fuerte (boys), Girsaoles (girls) - a residential home where they receive 3 to 5 years supported living in a shared house as students in university or technical institutes in preparation for the work place and independence.
Through all our programs the Gospel is shared with them with regular devotions in the homes, attendance at local churches and small group Bible studies.

We have 29 years of experience and own all the necessary infrastructure for the each stage of our program.
We have an all Bolivian staff team which keeps our costs low, with no exterior costs as our board is purely voluntary without costs in the USA other than the cost of transferring funds from US dollars to Bolivianos and the cost of our annual IRS tax return.

We have all the infrastructure necessary to take children from the streets, through high school and higher education, through to independence and reintegration into society.
We offer a high level of education with extra education support within our homes in addition to offering the children local private school education after completing two years in our restoration homes.
2016 - we are beginning to confront a new challenge encouraging new children into our homes due to heavier hard drug addictions at a younger age and are seeking new strategies and partnerships to overcome this relatively new problem. In previous years their drug of choice was glue and other inhalants which were not nearly so addictive as crack cocaine.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
