Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Northstar School provides a holistic education where we present developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters love of learning, curiosity, mastery of core concepts, imagination and a deep respect for the natural world in a dynamic way that cultivates spiritual, physical, intellectual and social growth.

Northstar School offers an integrated and comprehensive curriculum in all core subjects. Our curriculum meets each stage of the child\u0027s development and fosters healthy inquiry and a deep respect for nature. Instruction in different modalities develops the capacities of students across the subject areas. Early exposure to quality literature and experiential math instruction provide students with the platform from which they will flourish. Encouraging students to view the wonder of the natural world as well as look into history for lessons and inspiration rounds off their core subjects to provide each child with an intellectual capacity to explore their interests and find their life long passion.

Northstar is well-equipped with a highly seasoned staff of teachers who every day bring not only their substantial experience and know-how to the classroom, but also their sincere kindness, love for children, and care for the mission of the school.\r\n\r\nOur curriculum has been developed and refined from our many years of studying and employing some of the most cutting edge and time-tested strategies and tools for educating children.

We have educated and sparked a love of learning in many hundreds of children. We have developed an incredible team of seasoned educators and along with a nourishing and meticulous curriculum.\r\nWe have nurtured a family-like community of learning and support for our young students.\r\nWe have established a beautiful, welcoming campus environment that will support our students and families for many years into the future.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Aug 01 - Jul 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
