Funeral Service Program

Baby Spirit Foundation supports families suffering loss of a baby through miscarriage or infant death up to 12 months of age by helping them with the cost of a full cremation service, a casket or funeral urn.

Baby Spirit Foundation help families over time cope with the loss of a baby due to miscarriage or infant death up to 12 months of age by providing them with an online emotional support program designed by licensed therapists in collaboration with individuals who have personally experienced a loss. The program's goal is to be a resource for families to hear from others with lived experience and tips to understand and process grief.

Michael is a licensed funeral director and part-owner of Cooney Funeral Homes in Park Ridge & Chicago, IL. He is a member of the Illinois Funeral Director's Association, and has extensive experience providing funeral services for those who have lost their baby through pregnancy and infant loss. Michael believes that all families going through such a tragic loss deserve the support and comfort of the Baby Spirit Foundation. He is motivated to work with the BSF team to give all we can to the families we serve.
