Transitional Housings for Homeless Women, Female Veterans and Children

Transitional Housing for Homeless Women, Female Veterans, and their children, will meet a service gap in our community and provide shelter and support for a highly vulnerable population. This will be the only program in this community to deliver specialized housing, staffing and supportive programs for homeless women and female veterans who may be experiencing a homeless situation with or without children. The project will provide Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing beds, Case Management, counseling and therapy, child care, housing location support, and workforce development. The program also provides mental health support and substance abuse and recovery programming. Ultimately, we want to love people by demonstrating our sincere desire to see them repair their lives, grow and flourish.

Population(s) Served

Our Bountiful Blessings program offers weekly opportunities for individuals and families to have access to free food, clothing, shoes, baby supplies (formula and diapers), and warm winter clothing. The program also provides hot meals to families who are displaced and or who lack shelter and are living and surviving outside of a shelter program.

Population(s) Served

The program provided out-of-school time programs and services for youth grades k - 12. A Spring and Winter Break S.T.E.A.M. camp is provided to provide programming that meets each youth's developmental needs.
This can include youth expression, youth involvement in community service, and creating opportunities for youth decision-making at various levels of government. This also includes programs that provide structure for youth contribution.
