Visit to the Science Center
The Da Vinci Science Center’s hands-on exhibits, programs, and partnership initiatives present science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects to kids informally, playfully, and in ways that relate to their popular interests. These active and engaging experiences awaken interest, promote fundamental skills, and inspire students to consider exciting STEM careers that meet growing industry demands.
School Field Trips
The Da Vinci Science Center is passionate about hands-on learning experiences. Our popular exhibits, hands-on workshops, and live science shows will engage your students as active participants in the learning process.
Camp
The Da Vinci Science Center offers week-long day camps in the summer and single-day camps during holiday breaks. Young people enjoy a world of playful hands-on adventure that inspires campers to think creatively, be curious, and learn through their own observations and discoveries.

Educator Professional Development
Da Vinci Science Center professional development programs for educators are Act 48- approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) and guaranteed to be active, engaging, and effective in bringing the STEM subjects – science, technology, engineering, and mathematics – to life for students. The Center works with educators to match their district’s goals, time-frames, and budgets with programs that make an impact in their schools.
The Da Vinci Science Center’s math science partnership program – known today as the Greater Allentown Math Science Partnership (GAMSP) – has been ranked among the 20 best programs of its kind in America by the U.S. Department of Education since 2008.
Scout Programs
The Da Vinci Science Center offers day programs and camp-in programs for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts with hands-on activities led by professional educators and time for scouts to explore the Center. On their visit, scouts earn badges, patches, pins, other scouting awards, or exclusive Da Vinci Science Center patches and badges. The Center’s customized science Outreach Shows also enhance special events, including Blue and Gold Dinners and service unit events.
