Open Door Thrift Store was started because many people in the local community were in need of good clothing. It has grown in size over the years and is now capable of providing casual and professional clothing as well as household items for children and adults. The proceeds from Open Door Thrift Store help keep the doors open at the Open Door Food Pantry, Open Door Service Center, and the Open Door Kitchen. Support from the community is what enables us to help thousands of people per month.

Our Partners with Purpose Program.
The purpose of this program is to supply our first responders with hygiene and non-perishable food to give out because they are the first on the scene when there is a house fire, disaster, or someone found homeless. Other local partners add their information or resource flyers in the bags too, so when our first responders hand the bags out, the patron has a running start to creating safety for their families.

Veterans can receive a box of food and hygiene products in addition to the Feeding America food box.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
