Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Through Christ’s love and compassion, we are taught not to condemn, but to love. It is not only our civic duty to serve, but our calling, as Christians, to help imprisoned men and women find Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide the highest quality worship, Bible study, education, life skills, post-release, and counseling programs possible.

Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministry has a goal to continue to help incarcerated men and women in Forsyth County discover the true meaning of Christianity, and what it means to live as a Christian. Additionally, we seek to provide a way for community volunteers to use their talents and abilities to make a positive impact on those being served.

Forsyth Jail and Prison ministries utilizes a team of chaplains and support staff to carry out its mission of sharing Christ’s love and forgiveness to transform lives and break the cycle of crime and punishment.
In addition to staff, FJPM has developed a network of more than 700 community volunteers trained to help provide spiritual and educational programs for inmates in Forsyth County.
Working with Forsyth County's correctional institutions, FJPM continually monitors current correctional trends and inmate needs to provide the highest quality programs possible.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
