The Great Pennsylvania Music & Arts Celebration

In 2018 and 2019, we presented The Great Pennsylvania Music & Arts Celebration at the historic Allentown Fairgrounds, to celebrate Pennsylvania’s music, culture and arts. Our festival is notable for its support of veterans and veterans’ groups, fostering remembrance of the men and women who have served and died in the US military. We are also proud of the quality and variety of the festival’s free musical programming. The headliners and all other performers selected each year have their roots in Pennsylvania, and reflect the state’s rich and diverse musical genres that cut across generations and nationalities. The 2019 programming included rock & roll, polka, folk, bluegrass, Celtic and Latino music, as well as a very professional version of a Bob Hope USO tribute show as attribute to veterans from WWII to Vietnam. We also featured an Artists Market with local craftspeople, and showcased young musicians at a Sunday afternoon Rock Youth program.

“Music ALIVE!” was a concert event held at the Allentown Fairgrounds on Labor Day weekend in 2020. With host Mike Mittman, performances by local favorites The BC Combo, James Supra Band with Sarah Ayers, and the Large Flowerheads, and City Entertainment Systems running sound, a great time was guaranteed! PAMPS board member Jim Spang was largely responsible for organizing the many aspects of the concert, and we were rewarded with great attendance. Service Electric Cable TV, Inc. televised the event. We hope to continue presenting concerts that the whole family can enjoy.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
