Land Protection

Central Pennsylvania Conservancy works with landowners, funders, and partners to prioritize and protect land and natural resources. This is accomplished through conservation easements with private landowners as well as acquisitons and transfers to public agencies to increase outdoor recreation opportunities for the public.

Central Pennsylvania Conservancy partners with the conservation community to protect land and natural resources amidst a rapidly developing landscape. We seek to improve ecological and recreational connectivity between protected areas and near population centers.

Central Pennsylvania Conservancy works closely with conservation partners to prioritize projects and align with funding initiatives to increase the amount of protected land in the region to help balance development while maintaining the natural beauty and resources that make south central Pennsylvania a great place to live.
