Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Survivorship Series
I finished treatment. Now what?
When cancer treatment ends, a new chapter of life begins. Our seven-week survivorship series will provide the information and support you need to manage the challenges that arise after cancer treatment.
Financial Assistance Program
Oregon Cancer Foundation's Financial Assistance Program provides stop-gap assistance to individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer and are currently in treatment or are up to six months post treatment. Applicants must reside in Lane County Oregon. Donations made to Oregon Cancer Foundations help eligible patients pay for everyday living expenses such as: utility bills, rent/mortgage payments, insurance premiums, car payments, durable medical equipment and more.
NOURISH: Food for Life
NOURISH: Food for Life is a collaboration between the Oregon Cancer Foundation and Positive Community Kitchen. Through our mutual missions of support and wellness, we offer a library of free cooking demonstrations and recipes to cancer patients and survivors.
Support Groups
Oregon Cancer Foundation offers several support groups each month. These groups meet year-round. For the schedule or for more information about each group, please visit: oregoncancerofoundation.org
Believe Boutique
Our Believe Boutique carries complimentary wigs, hats, scarves, and other accessories for cancer patients actively undergoing treatment. A trained volunteer is available to assist with selection and styling.

What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Oregon Cancer Foundation has strived to meet the needs of those impacted by cancer in our community for the last 13 years. Since re-organizing in 2013, we have made great strides organizationally and programmatically. The number of referrals for financial assistance has continued to increase each year and, due to strong community support, we have been able to accept 100% of eligible applicants. We have responded to the changing national (cancer) landscape by creating new programs and expanding existing offerings.
In the Summer of 2018, we moved into a new, centrally located office space that has allowed for continued growth and expansion.

Financial data
Oregon Cancer Foundation
Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31
The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
