What we aim to solve
Beyond the charm of Orange County's fun in the sun culture lies a hidden population that we do not often see: socially withdrawn, heightened sensitivity, lack of concentration, inability or difficulty performing familiar tasks at work, school or at home. They could be a co-worker, your spouse or child, a neighbor or friend. The key challenges blocking access to mental and behavioral care in Orange County are a lack of knowledge, access to quality services, the cost of behavioral care, and stigma. Without expanded prevention, intervention, and treatment, Orange County will face a growing group of people with diminished wellness and the loss of living life fully.

Norooz Clinic Foundation Programs
Norooz Clinic Foundation is a non-profit public service and educational organization. The meaning of Norooz is new day. At the Norooz Clinic we strive to assist those who walk through our doors with their journey of discovery to find their new day, their rebirth, through mental health and wellness. Norooz Clinic focuses on building and maintaining healthy relationships by identifying common struggles and providing new ways to approach them with success. We teach our clients effective skills and tools in order to give them alternative ways to think about daily problems and stressors, and overcome them with more ease and balance. At the Norooz Clinic, we treat anxiety, depression, marital dissatisfaction, anger, sexual dysfunction, and addiction. Our clinicians also specialize in treating traumas, relationship problems, domestic violence victims, grief and loss. To ensure affordability for all, we maintain sliding-scale fees, as well as offer pro bono therapy sessions and free training to our clients. Access to mental health is of paramount importance at Norooz Clinic, that is why we ensure everyone is provided the opportunity to access our services through technology by connecting to our multiple online streaming workshops.

Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
