What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Extended Youth Program
Agencies for at-risk youth come for our once a month program 12 times a year. Kids naturally identify with animals, so we can use interactions with animals to teach children how to behave towards other people. Often when children are abused, they turn their hurt around to abuse others. By teaching empathy and uniting kids with all life, our Youth Program helps turn these kids from bullies & abusers into protectors instead.
Internships
Available 3-4 times per year to college students interested in animal care, sustainability or working with kids.

Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.

Executive Director
Ms Diane Marie Dieterich
I was an Animal Handler and cared for wild exotic animals as a Conservation Ambassador on a voluntary basis for a local California Zoo for over 10 years.
I attended fundraisers throughout California and assisted the Zoo in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars by presenting live exhibits. I am a vegan and have always felt that Animals have never been given the life they deserve and wanted to make a difference in the world! Greener Pastures Farm Sanctuary is allowing me to do just that.
